show transcriptThe University of Michigan C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital conducts an annual national survey of adults about the health of and concerns about children’s health. The table represents the responses from the 2016 survey and lists the rankings according to the race/ethnicity of the adult respondents. Results from the survey indicate that the top 3 concerns are bullying, obesity and drug use/abuse. However, what is also evident are differences among the groups about some of the health issues with black adults listing racial inequities, gun injuries and hunger as concerns – while none of these is noted to be one of the top 10 health issues by Hispanic or white respondents.
